Greater Birmingham and Solihull LEP, the body bringing together council leaders, chambers of commerce and other business organisations, to specify exactly where the zone should be. have drawn up a business case to be presented to the Government, after the Chancellor, announced plans for an enterprise zone in Birmingham in last month’s budget.
Cooke Rudling support the LEP who have now agreed with Birmingham city centre as the location of the Enterprise Zone which should hopefully to generate considerable private investment and jobs, as well as the potential for substantial business rate growth and help raise commercial property prices and increase the need for services such as Commercial Property Management from us.
We feel that as these zones will help bring demand for some of the available office space in Birmingham City Centre and also offer financial incentives and benefits from the savings for new employers who will be free from paying business rates for five years.
